I love my pets! On this page I'll describe them and their special place in my life.

Little Ann

My dog, Little Ann, is a female chocolate laborador retriever. She's a really good dog. Her birthday is July 29, 1997. She loves treats, and she knows to come beg to me for them because I almosts always give in. She's a bit of a chicken, because she's afraid of a lot of things, including water if it's over her head, which is strange because most labs love to swim. But that's just part of her personality. She's a very friendly dog, and will always greet people with her tail wagging!! She's such a cute doggie!!

Sasha

Sasha is my gray, female tabby cat.  She can be a bit moody, and very aloof sometimes, but she and I are really good friends! If she really likes you, she'll jump up on your lap and purr and nuzzle you. It's very cute. She will come and lay down with me a lot. She loves to play with ponytail holders, picking them up in her mouth and tossing them around. She was born on March 19, 1996. She's a great cat.

I also have a tank of fish at home, if you can count them as 'pets'. Oh, and as far as I'm concerned I have a pet praying mantis, too! Her name is Manty and she lives in the biology department! She always hangs out with us during Entomology (the study of insects) lab. I think she's cute cute CUTE!!!! Some people don't like bugs and I just think that is sad... ;_;  ... but to each their own! Anyway, Manty is really er... 'social' I guess you could say, for a bug. She likes to climb on my head! :P

Ginger

Ginger is my (ok, technically my sister's) female, calico-ey semi-long-haired cat. We adopted her this summer (2005) and she's already gotten SOOO big! (this pic was taken when we first got her). She's extremely frisky and will play with pretty much anything, even if it's not really a toy... I swear she plays with AIR if there's nothing around! She's a real cutie though, but doesn't like to be cuddled as much as some cats, although I guess she's becoming more affectionate as she gets older. I live at school so I can't keep up with the animal updates as well as I'd like to :(
